About Us

Tony Lacava

Tony L.A. Lava, aka the Trickster,  asked how long he's been playing will often be heard to answer, "Oh, 'bout fifteen minutes ! Humble almost to a fault, he was overheard apologizing "I'm very sorry for you" to a bass player who emoted that L.A. might well be the best guitarist with whom he had ever performed. Loves 70's classic rock and blues, which is evident in both his guitar slinging and his vocals. A showman to the core who can excite an audience with his stage antics by playing behind his head, with his teeth, slide guitar with a beer bottle, harmonica, and who can forget the talk box ! He has adopted many influences from the likes of guitar phenom Michael Harrington, Joe Walsh, Ritchie Blackmore, Peter Frampton, Roy Buchanan, and Danny Gatton.

Jose Perez

Jose "Sticks" Perez, the little Latin percussion lover is a true juggernaut who rolls down the track like a steam locomotive without brakes. Hard to stop once he gets going, Jose lives up to his "thunder like no other" reputation. Discovered as a jazz phenom at the age of 14, and he once played a gig for none other than the King of Soul himself, Mr. James Brown, Jose now turns to the classic hits of the 70's and he makes no apologies, no, none. Watch him like a hawk, he's quick and oh so sly.

Keith Priest

Keith "The Thump" Priest has been playing music for over 20 years. He recently retired from the Marine Corps. During his time in Eastern Carolina, Keith’s Band “Two Weeks Notice” opened for Johnny Winter, and recorded a 9 song original CD which received local air play. Keith has transitioned to the other side of the rhythm section, bass guitar. He has completed studio work with a local band, and provided bass tracks for a local church who created a disc for their congregation. His influences include Rush, Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Dream Theater Violent Femmes, The Cure, and Rancid.
